The "eight centers" are an East-meets-West center for international cultural exchange, an international aviation hub, an international financial center, an international innovation and technology center, an international trade center, an international transportation center, a regional center for international legal and dispute resolution services as well as a regional intellectual property trading center.
Lau mentioned that the HKTE will continue to strengthen overseas promotion efforts and will visit key overseas regions this year to tie in with the city's future developments.
