A netizen shared that the store has been boarded up and marked as closed on its Facebook page, following the brand's announcement of closing its other store at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui in February.
The well-loved dessert shop is known for its made-to-order souffle pancakes, crafted using Japanese wheat flour and fresh eggs. Many online users rave about the fluffy pancakes, claiming they bring a delightful sense of 'happiness' with every bite.
The brand has not yet provided any updates nor confirmed whether it will fully withdraw the business from the Hong Kong market.
The company opened its first store in the city in 2018 and at its height, it had three stores in Causeway Bay, Sha Tin, and Tsim Sha Tsui.
