A van driver was seen sitting calmly on his overturned vehicle after a collision with a taxi at the junction of Sha Tin Rural Committee Road and Tai Chung Kiu Road late on Thursday night.
The accident occurred around 11pm when a Lalamove van and a taxi collided, causing the van to flip onto its side. The driver, aged around 50, had already climbed out of the vehicle before emergency services arrived. He was photographed bare-chested, sitting casually on the overturned van as he waited for rescue.
Both the van driver and the taxi driver suffered minor hand injuries. The photos quickly went viral on social media, with many netizens praising the driver's composure.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
