The Hong Kong Computer and Communication Festival 2024 will be held from August 23 to 26, with over 800 booths as well as HK$1 product offers.
The 4-day fest at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will showcase the allure and development of artificial intelligence along with innovative technology with five zones.
A new "AI PC zone" will be set up for cutting-edge technology and offer gaming experience with companies such as ASUS and Microsoft.
There is also a flash sale event, offering electronics products worth over HK$1,000 available at as low as HK$1 for visitors to snag great deals.
An exhibition called "The Belt and Road Software Pavilion 2024," featuring approximately 120 mainland Chinese brands such as Huawei, Lenovo, and China Mobile, will also be held from August 23 to 24 at the fair.
The festival will also host an Esports Summer Fun 2024 contest featuring the Street Fighter 6 game with prizes exceeding HK$40,000. Four international players, the top four local players as well as internet celebrities are invited.
Jacky Cheung Yiu-shing, the founding president of the Chamber of HK Computer Industry, hopes the introduction of new technologies could stimulate spending and achieve a sales increase of five to 10 percent.
Ex-chairman of the Chamber Sam Hui Kin-sang anticipated a 5 percent increase in attendance compared to last year due to the success of the other fairs this summer.
The festival will be open from 10 am to 9.30 pm for the first three days, concluding at 6 pm on the final day with a HK$35 entrance fee.
