Get vaxxed, tested or banned from campus, Baptist University has told students and teachers.
The university has issued a letter to all staffers and students, saying they must be fully vaccinated and wait 14 days before entering campus. People who are unfit for vaccination should get tested every 14 days.
The policy will start on October 1.
Starting the end of May, Baptist University has required those who live in student dormitories to get vaccinated or tested every two weeks. Those facing financial difficulties can apply for subsidies to pay for their testing.
The University of Science and Technology and Polytechnic University also require staffers and students to get vaccinated or be tested regularly. As for the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University and Lingnan University, only students living in dormitories are subjected to such requirements.
The Education University and City University do not have any vaccination requirements for access to campus.
