The event set to be held on January 18, named "FOUR in LOVE," will feature popular singers and band including Jay Fung, Cloud Wan, JACE, and Dear Jane.
John Sharkey, Project Director at KTSP, emphasized the dual purpose of the concert -- to showcase the venue's facilities to the local industry and to inspire local youths by providing access to an international-grade venue.
He expressed hope that the event would enable future planning for similar concerts and inspire young attendees to pursue their dreams.
The concert will benefit the Hong Kong Community Chest, with all proceeds, after deducting costs and expenses, going towards the development of local youth affairs.
Tickets will be distributed through sponsoring organizations, beneficiary organizations, partners, and supporting units. Additionally, KTSP has allocated about 180 complimentary passes for wheelchair users.
Separately, Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung Ho Poi-yan revealed plans for two large-scale drills at KTSP Main Stadium, which can hold up to 50,000 people.
The drills, scheduled for January 24 and February 4, will simulate the logistics of managing large-scale events and the subsequent departure of attendees in the evening.
The Civil Service Bureau has informed all bureaus and departments to prepare for the participation of tens of thousands of civil servants in each exercise, ensuring minimal impact on public services.
