TVB's program "Scoop" on Monday night uncovered a father's false claim of having sexually assaulted his own underage son, inviting another woman to engage in a threesome and sending her photos of his child's genitals.
A woman identified as Miss Chan shared on “Scoop” that a single father whom she met on dating app Heymandi explicitly invited her to participate in sexual activity with him and his 14-year-old son. He requested that she be gentle with his son and stated that he would later join in the intercourse.
The father explained that after divorcing his wife, he had been raising his son alone, and that his son was becoming curious about sex during puberty, so he hoped to meet women online to “satisfy his son's desires.”
“He’s inviting someone to rape his son,” Chan said to “Scoop” host Maggie Leung Man-hau. Although Chan felt disgusted, she continued talking to the father because she wanted to gather more information to report him to the police.
The father kept persuading Chan to meet him. He said his son was "very cute" and was willing to provide his son's identity documents to verify his age and identity.
Furthermore, the father revealed that he had been "touching" his son in bed since he was nine, and had been performing sexual acts on him since he was 12 or 13.
"As long as he feels comfortable, it's okay," the father said to Chan, and began sending her photos of his son's genitals.
However, the police stated that they did not have the father's real contact information and could not confirm that the person in the nude photos was a minor. Therefore, they could only file a report.
Chan, having exhausted all other options, decided to report the incident to “Scoop”.
With the help of the “Scoop” team, Chan set up a meeting with the pervert in a busy area on February 12, where Leung rushed to his side and asked whether he had sexually assaulted his son. The father immediately covered his face with a bag and hurried away.
The episode ended with the man being arrested at the intersection of Hak Po Street and Soy Street in Mong Kok and taken to a police car.
It was later confirmed by police that the arrested man's children are all adults, and he has lived with his wife, 28-year-old daughter, and 26-year-old son in their residence in Tai Po for over 20 years.
The arrested man admitted that he downloaded two nude photos of unidentified children from the internet in early December last year and then sent them to the complainant to arouse her sexual interest.
