Nepalese woman arrested for stealing baby formula at Langham Place

A Nepalese woman was arrested on Thursday night at a supermarket in Langham Place, Mong Kok, after allegedly stealing three cans of baby formula worth about HK$900, police said.

Footage circulating on social media shows the woman attempting to flee through the shopping mall after being discovered, with her handbag falling to the ground. Two men, believed to be supermarket staff and security personnel, eventually stopped her. The woman shouted and raised her hands, apparently pleading for leniency, but the staff member restrained her and shouted: "Stealing baby formula? How many times have you done this?"

Police arrived at the scene and arrested the woman. The case remains under investigation.
