Two startups from City University have been given Deloitte Hong Kong Technology Fast and Rising Star awards.
The awards aim to identify and recognize growing companies that promote the development of innovation and technology ecosystems in the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
Cellomics was recognized for its liquid biopsy technology for cancer diagnosis and disease monitoring and its high revenue growth rate while i2Cool won for its expertise in electricity-free cooling technology, which is helping to push the global transition to carbon neutrality.
Both start-ups were based on research developed by CityU.
Cellomics was founded in 2017 by the CityU research team, with its headquarters and research in Hong Kong and development and production in Shenzhen.
And i2Cool was incubated with CityU HK Tech 300 program's seed and angel funding.
