Standard grabs trio of news awards

Sing Tao News Corporation's three newspapers have grabbed 14 at Hong Kong News Awards 2022, including three for The Standard.

The Standard won the first and third prizes in the best business news writing (English) by articles "Red flags raised as world goes green" and "Stemming the tide of greenwashing."

The second runner-up in the best headline (English) also goes to The Standard for "You've got to be kidding!"

Sing Tao Daily won 10 prizes in the best scoop, best news reporting, best business news reporting, best science news reporting, best news writing (Chinese), best business news writing (Chinese) and best photograph (news).

Headline Daily won a merit prize for best photograph (sports).
