Yuexiu REIT selling 50pc stake in Financial Tower for over 3.4b yuan

Yuexiu Real Estate Investment Trust (0405) announced that it will sell a 50 percent stake in Guangzhou Yuexiu Financial Tower for about 3.43 billion yuan (HK$3.75 billion) as part of a strategic restructuring plan.

The trust will also reorganize the remaining 50 percent interest, reducing its effective beneficial interest in the landmark office tower to 49.495 percent.

Yuexiu Financial Tower, located in Guangzhou’s Zhujiang New Town, comprises a 68-story Grade-A office building and four basement levels with 827 parking spaces. The property generated revenue of 165 million yuan in the first half of 2025 and 362 million yuan in 2024.
