Miami Quay II low-rise units ready for viewing at Kai Tak

Miami Quay II in Kai Tak opened its low-rise special units for viewing on Wednesday with plans to launch them for sale via tender in the near term, according to the developers.

The project is jointly developed by Wheelock Properties, Henderson Land Development (0012), New World Development (0017), and Empire Group.

Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu, executive director of Wheelock Properties, said that the developers plan to launch Miami Quay II in June, with the first batch of 25 low-rise apartments offered by tender.

The new phase comprises two high-rise towers and one low-rise building, offering 571 units ranging from 251 to 1,426 square feet in size. The mix includes 237 one-bedroom, 264 two-bedroom, and 25 three-bedroom units, as well as 25 studios and 20 special units.

A total of 142 units at Miami Quay I have been sold, generating nearly HK$1.75 billion in revenue, Wong added.

He expects home prices to see a mild increase of 2 percent to 3 percent in the second half.
