Cyberport will hold a career fair next Friday and Saturday offering more than 2,000 jobs, about 60 percent of them related to artificial intelligence, while showcasing Asia's first AI interviewer.

Ricky Choi Wai-kit, Cyberport's director of smart living, said among the positions related to AI, over half of them are software engineering, data science, digital marketing and other technical specialists.
"The wave of AI is unlikely to end anytime soon," Choi said, "We believe that if young people can equip themselves with AI-related skills, they can ride this wave of AI and hopefully catch this train during the rapid development of AI."
Paul Wong Kit-cheung, chief technology officer of digiXnode, a digital solution company participating in this year's fair, said tech firms seek individuals who can integrate AI into their work.
Wong said: "We tend to look for people who possess knowledge of their trade and continue to enhance themselves with AI-related qualifications, therefore can apply those skills to meet the company's future needs."Job seekers can explore over 100 booths or join virtually, with access to over 280 forums, recruitment talks, CV clinics, and Asia's first AI interviewer developed by TechJobAsia, a Cyberport start-up.
Powered by large language models, the AI interviewer conducts interviews in Cantonese and English, generates follow-up questions, and evaluates candidates in real-time.Terrance Lok, executive director of TechJobAsia, said the AI program is now being used by around 50 local companies. "It can conduct multiple interviews simultaneously and operates without time zone constraints," he stated.
The 2025 fair also marks Cyberport's first collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to expand its reach to more young people.
