Panda-monium for sculptural fest

Up to 2,500 panda sculptures will be displayed across tourist spots in Hong Kong during the weekends in December.

This comes as Hong Kong-based creative studio AllRightsReserved (AAR) will conduct the city's largest panda-themed exhibition Panda Go! Fest HK from December 2.

Panda sculptures in eight unique designs will appear in the Avenue of Stars on December 7 and 8, Ngong Ping 360 on December 14 and 15, Ocean Park on December 21 and 22, and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park on December 25 and 26.

"Both locals and tourists are invited to dive into this immersive celebration that blends art, exhibition and tourism," AAR said.

"The exhibition promises not only a citywide celebration of the pandas' unique charm but also an atmosphere filled with joy and hope," it added.

The studio also created six new panda characters inspired by the city's panda family, including Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, Ke Ke and the baby twin pandas.
