High-flying holidays in Haikou

Passengers can take Greater Bay Airlines to Haikou in Hainan starting July 12.

The Hong Kong-based value carrier will run the new route five times a week between Hong Kong International Airport and Haikou Meilan International Airport.

Flight HB541 will depart from Hong Kong at 7.25am and arrive in Haikou at 8.45am every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Sunday flight will depart at 6.50am and land in Haikou at 8.10am.

Flight HB542 will depart from Haihou at 9.55am and arrive in Hong Kong at 11.25am on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Sunday flight will leave at 9.20am and return to Hong Kong at 10.50am.

The airline said Haikou is a family holiday destination with beautiful beaches, world-class golf courses and many cultural attractions.

Passengers can now book tickets on the airline's website, its mobile app or through travel agents.
