The extended Admiralty Station and new Exhibition Centre Station on the East Rail Line have been hailed as super-duper.Andrew Mead, head of architecture of MTR Corporation, said they "strive to balance the need to move people efficiently with architectural beauty" when designing stations. 
They have been honored with awards from three local and internationally renowned design and architectural schemes.

The Admiralty Station extension, which won three awards, features a unique multi-level atrium design with a station more than 50 meters deep and 34 escalators connecting the platforms, creating a vertical transport hub.
A skylight drawing and the artwork "Mapping Our Way" in the spacious atrium signify the convergence of the four railway lines.
The three-story underground Exhibition Centre Station in Wan Chai North provides commuters with easy access across Victoria Harbor and to different parts of Hong Kong.
"Water Memory" assembles 1,200 photos of the seascape for one of the largest MTR station artworks.
