The Peak welcomes young royals

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong's revamped Historical and National Heroes zone includes new wax figures in the forms of Britain's Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate.

Likely to be a focus for what she's wearing, the Kate figure is decked out in a red sequined and tulle dress. More predictably, king-to-be William wears his signature navy-blue single-breasted suit with a white dress shirt and a burgundy patterned tie. Still, the outfits complement each other nicely.

Along with the new figures at Tussauds in The Peak Tower there are interactive educational experiences for visitors to learn royal etiquette, from a correct handshake and sitting posture to greeting and speaking like a royal.

Visitors will have an "enthralling way to get familiar with the royals," reckons top executive Eric Mak.

Hopes for a new surge of visitors are clearly pinned on Wills and Kate, who will be arrayed with many familiar faces including President Xi Jinping and China's first lady, Peng Liyuan.
