Boy escapes escalator drama

A boy almost lost his toes when his Crocs slipper was stuck at the edge of a moving escalator.

A netizen posted on Facebook that her nephew, suspected of standing too close to the edge of the escalator, had his slipper pulled apart when he was accidentally stuck at the edge.

The netizen said "it's shocking to see the photo" and reminded people to pay much attention when wearing similar shoes.

She then shared the screenshot of a conversation with her family, who described the boy's "shoe toe as completely ripped," saying "he really scared me to death."

Some netizens said it was not a problem with shoes: "In fact, whatever kind of shoes will be like that if caught in the escalator, unless you are wearing industrial shoes with steel toe.

"The main thing is to remind children that they should not stand too close to the edge, with whatever shoes."
