Flaming sip turns into bar blaze

A cocktail in Lan Kwai Fong was too hot to handle for a 25-year-old woman when she got her forehead burnt trying to sip a Flaming Lamborghini.

In the early hours yesterday, the woman was drinking with her friends in an upstairs bar when she ordered the drink. But the cocktail accidentally spilled on the table and went up in flames.

The blaze triggered the fire alarm system.

The woman had a red and swollen forehead and ambulanceman applied an ice pack and sent her to Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Fu Lam. She was later discharged and left the hospital by herself.
