Expired Vitasoy no incentive to get jabbed

Expired cartons of Vitasoy were in some 40 gift bags handed out to citizens taking Covid jabs at a Wong Tai Sin mobile vaccine station.

In an effort to motivate more people to get jabbed, vaccination centers, including the mobile vaccination station in Temple Square, are distributing gift bags.

But about 40 bags distributed by the station last Friday contained expired Vitasoy.

A spokesman for the Civil Services Bureau said those who were given the problematic gift bags were able to exchange for a new one between 10am and 5pm yesterday at Temple Square.

The spokesman said they did not find any problematic gift bags distributed in other mobile vaccination stations.
