Returns for e-lai see love

Since e-lai sees are now a thing, those handing them out might as well get something in return.

Alipay is allowing Hong Kong users to send red packets to loved ones across the city or into the mainland.

Those across the border will automatically receive their lai sees in yuan, free of handling fees.

Alipay says there are many designs to choose from, but what may be more interesting to others is that vouchers await new users and top users.

Top users can win vouchers worth HK$888, gift bags amounting to HK$1,000, Lao Feng Xiang bracelets worth HK$488 and coupons from ParknShop, Watsons and Fortress.
