Man, 65, arrested for managing Mong Kok vice establishment

A 65-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly managing a suspected vice establishment in Mong Kok, police said.

Officers from the Mong Kok district special duty squad conducted a raid under Operation STEMPICKER at a unit on Boundary Street following intelligence and investigation.

The man, surnamed Ko, was arrested on suspicion of "managing a vice establishment." He will appear at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on April 17.

Officers seized a batch of evidence at the unit, including account books, condoms, and towels.

Under Section 139 of the Crimes Ordinance, anyone who operates, manages, or otherwise controls a vice establishment commits an offence and faces up to 10 years imprisonment upon conviction.
