Cathay Pacific has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Riyadh and Dubai due to the developing situation in the Middle East, the airline announced on Sunday.
Flights to and from Riyadh are cancelled from February 28 up to and including March 3. Services to and from Dubai are suspended from February 28 through March 5.
The airline said affected customers who have not already received notification should check their booking status via Manage Booking on the Cathay Pacific website.
A ticket waiver policy is in place for passengers booked to travel between Hong Kong and the two cities up to March 7, allowing rebooking, rerouting, or refunds without the usual fees.
Passengers who booked through travel agents or third-party websites are advised to contact them directly. Those who booked directly with Cathay Pacific via website, mobile app, or customer care can contact the airline for assistance with new bookings, while refund requests can be made through Manage Booking.
Cathay Pacific stated it is monitoring the situation closely and further schedule changes may be necessary, with passenger and staff safety the top priority.
