Car slams into shadow vehicle on San Tin Highway, no injuries

A private car collided with a shadow vehicle on San Tin Highway late Tuesday night, causing severe damage but resulting in no injuries.

The accident occurred at around 11pm on the highway's Yuen Long-bound section near Fairview Park. The car reportedly veered out of its lane and crashed into the rear impact guard of the shadow vehicle.

A passing driver, concerned someone might be trapped, called emergency services. Rescue personnel arrived and confirmed no one was trapped inside the car and no one was injured.

Police cordoned off part of the road for investigation. The damaged vehicles were later towed away. The shadow vehicle's rear attenuator was also damaged.
