25 mainland women arrested in Yuen Long vice raid

Twenty-five mainland Chinese women have been arrested in a Yuen Long vice operation targeting illegal prostitution, police said on Wednesday.

The women, aged 16 to 58, were detained during Operation FLINTSTONE on Wednesday, a joint effort by the Yuen Long district special duty squad and the Immigration Department.

They were arrested on suspicion of "breach of conditions of stay" and are being held for investigation.

Police stated the Yuen Long district will continue to intensify efforts to combat illegal activities, including vice, in the area. They urged the public to report any suspicious activities.
