Man robbed of $100,000 at Mong Kok ATM

A man was robbed of HK$100,000 in cash while attempting to deposit the money at a bank ATM in Mong Kok on Tuesday night.

The 36-year-old victim was at the bank entrance on Nathan Road around 10pm when a man, described as non-Chinese, snatched the cash and fled toward Dundas Street and Waterloo Road.

The victim sustained scrapes and bruises to his left knee. Paramedics treated him at the scene but he declined hospital treatment.

Police are investigating the case as robbery and are searching for the suspect. No arrests have been made.
