Road rage in Tin Shui Wai leaves two men injured, police hunt suspect

Two men in a light truck were injured in a road rage incident in Tin Shui Wai on Monday morning (Jan 26).

At 10.44am, a 28-year-old man was driving near a public toilet in San Lee Uk Tsuen when he got into a dispute over the right of way with a private car driver. The driver allegedly attacked the truck driver and his passenger with an iron rod before fleeing towards Hung Shui Kiu.

The truck driver sustained cuts to his hands, face, and mouth, while his passenger suffered injuries to his nose, eyes, and limbs. Both were taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.

Police have classified the case as assault causing bodily harm. No arrests have been made. They are seeking a local man in his 40s, wearing a blue shirt, gray shorts, white sneakers, and a black cap.
