Chow Tai Fook, in collaboration with Disney, launched a pre-sale for its "Mickey and Friends" Gold Notes Blind Box Collection at the Chow Tai Fook iSQUARE store on Saturday (Jan 24), attracting a long queue of customers.
The jewelry group stated on its Facebook page that the collection is crafted from 999.9 pure gold, with each gold note made from 0.1 grams of pure gold.
Each box is priced at HK$480, with only 100 limited-edition sets available, while a full set is priced at HK$3,840.
Inspired by instant photo prints, the collection showcases Mickey and his friends—including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip 'n Dale—exploring iconic Hong Kong landmarks, along with a special edition design.
Each gold note includes a mini character-themed camera charm that can be displayed or as a daily accessory, offering a new collectible for Disney fans.
During the pre-sale, the store featured a "Mickey and Friends" photo booth and offered Mickey hand-shaped chocolates to customers.
The collection also marks Chow Tai Fook as the first jewelry group in Hong Kong to launch a blind box series.
