Yau Tsim police issue 891 tickets, tow 6 cars in illegal parking crackdown

Yau Tsim police and Kowloon West traffic officers issued 891 fixed penalty tickets and towed six vehicles causing serious obstruction during an illegal parking crackdown on Monday.

The operation, codenamed "Movesky," targeted black spots in the district. As of December 2025, Yau Tsim district has issued 208,218 fixed penalty tickets and captured 1,750 driver offences on camera, aiming to improve behaviors that could lead to accidents.

Police said the district will continue strict enforcement to ensure traffic flow and raise road safety and compliance awareness. Drivers are urged to follow rules and avoid illegal parking for convenience.
