First 2026 New Year baby born at CUHK Medical Centre

The first Hong Kong baby of 2026 was born at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical Centre exactly at midnight, a boy weighing about 3.2 kilograms.

He is the first child for his parents. The hospital wished the baby good health, happy growth and a joyful family life.

At Kwong Wah Hospital, another boy was born at 12.06am, also a natural delivery, as his parents' third child.
