Large crowds packed the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the last day of the Hong Kong Food Festival, with many shoppers carrying bags of purchases as exhibitors offered discounts to clear stock.

The event featured six zones selling snacks, dried seafood, coffee and more, closing at 7pm.
Visitors appreciated the wide variety of products.
One tourist, visiting Hong Kong from the UK, spent between HK$2,000 and HK$3,000 on items such as pork jerky, prawn crackers, and squid.
She chose to visit on the final day of her trip, drawn by the variety of food options, having previously attended a different event in Hong Kong, the ACGHK.
Meanwhile, representatives from an environmental company focused on near-expiry products attended primarily to network with suppliers.
They noted that exhibitors, reluctant to transport leftover stock home, were likely offering steep discounts on the last day to clear inventory.
