Cat falls to death from Ngau Tau Kok public housing

A white cat fell to its death from a high-rise unit in Ngau Tau Kok on Saturday morning, leaving its tearful owner devastated.

The cat fell from a unit in Choi Leung House, Choi Tak Estate, in Ngau Tau Kok this morning at 9.14am, dying on impact on the ground below despite a response from firefighters and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals staff.

The female owner rushed downstairs in tears, comforted by a male companion, before taking the body for handling.

Police classified the incident as non-suspicious.
