John Lee visits victims after deadly Tai Po fire kills 13

Chief Executive John Lee has visited injured victims at Prince of Wales Hospital following a fatal five-alarm blaze at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po that claimed 13 lives and left 23 injured.

Lee inspected the temporary shelter at Tai Po Community Centre on Wednesday night before arriving at the hospital around midnight to meet with casualties from one of Hong Kong's deadliest residential fires in recent years.

The fire left six people in critical condition, 11 in serious condition, four stable, one discharged, and one with unknown status, according to the latest casualty figures. Lee is expected to provide further updates about the tragedy.
