ImmD crackdown targets moonlighting domestic helpers arresting 17

A man was hospitalized after being ambushed by three attackers armed with knives in Wan Chai early Thursday.
Police received a report from a passerby at around 3am after discovering an injured man collapsed in Monmouth Path.
Paramedics found the victim, aged about 30, with knife wounds to both legs. He remained conscious while being transported to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment. A large pool of blood was visible at the scene.
Initial investigations revealed the 31-year-old victim, surnamed Leung, had been in the area for entertainment since about 9pm. As he was leaving in the early hours, three men emerged from a private car and attacked him with knives before fleeing in the same vehicle.


The case has been classified as assault and assigned to the Wan Chai district crime squad. No arrests have been made yet.
Police are searching for three men described as wearing dark-colored tops and pants with white face masks during the attack.
