Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) is enhancing its popular HK1 open-top sightseeing route with extended evening services and a vibrant new look to celebrate National Day, offering tourists and locals a festive way to explore Hong Kong’s iconic landmarks.

Starting this Sunday (Sep 28), the HK1 route will operate until 11pm, with night tours beginning earlier at 5.30pm, allowing more time to enjoy the city’s illuminated sights.
To mark the occasion, KMB has unveiled a redesigned bus exterior for the HK1 line, featuring illustrations of key attractions along the route paired with colorful firework patterns to evoke a celebratory atmosphere.
Additionally, from Sunday through October 8, travelers can purchase a premium tourist day pass at a 57 percent discount, priced at HK$55, granting unlimited travel for 24 hours across over 480 KMB and Long Win Bus routes.
For added convenience, from today until October 31, passengers using WeChat Pay can claim a voucher for a HK$3 fare discount when paying for HK1 rides via the mobile payment code, making the scenic journey even more accessible.
