Police bust illegal fishing game gambling den in Yau Ma Tei, arrest operator and 10 gamblers

Yau Tsim District Special Duty Squad officers raided a residential unit at 313 Nathan Road in Yau Ma Tei on Thursday afternoon, dismantling a suspected illegal gambling operation.

A 37-year-old local woman surnamed Cheng was arrested for allegedly "operating a gambling establishment." Ten other individuals were detained for allegedly "gambling in a gambling establishment," including a 26-year-old mainland man holding a two-way permit, seven local men and two local women aged 26 to 55.

Police seized four fishing game machines, one card reader, a batch of game cards, and approximately HK$4,800 in cash during the operation. All arrested individuals remain in custody for investigation.
