With Super Typhoon Ragasa’s powerful winds approaching, Hong Kong’s weather is set to deteriorate on Tuesday, prompting the Hong Kong Observatory to announce that it will issue the Gale or Storm Signal No. 8 at 2.20pm.
Hong Kong is bracing for severe weather as Super Typhoon Ragasa’s expansive circulation draws closer, with conditions expected to worsen significantly starting late tomorrow.
The Hong Kong Observatory has announced that the Gale or Storm Signal No. 8 will be raised at 2:20pm tomorrow (Sep 23), signaling strong winds that could disrupt daily activities across the city.
This follows the earlier issuance of the No. 3 strong wind signal on this evening at 9.40pm, as the storm continues its path toward the Guangdong coast, nearing the Pearl River Estuary.
