A theft incident occurred at a claw machine shop in Mong Kok's Argyle Centre during the early hours of Monday, with police currently searching for a local man suspected of stealing a LABUBU doll valued at approximately HK$700.
Authorities received a report from the shop manager at approximately 1:00am indicating that a male suspect had allegedly taken the collectible doll from atop a claw machine at the Nathan Road 688 location before fleeing toward Sai Yeung Choi Street South.
After preliminary investigation, Mong Kok District Crime Squad Team 2 has classified the case as theft and is pursuing a suspect described as a 30-40-year-old local man approximately 1.7 meters tall. The individual was reportedly wearing a white top, black trousers, black face mask, and carrying a brown bag during the incident.
