Hop Yik Tai is a neighborhood institution celebrated for its signature rice rolls, which feature prominently in both the Michelin Guide and the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s recommendations.
The eatery is renowned for preparing fresh rice rolls daily—thin, silky sheets with a distinct rice aroma, traditionally served with a harmonious blend of sweet sauce, sesame paste, and soy sauce. Beyond its famous rice rolls, the shop also offers a range of affordable local staples including fish balls, stewed pork skin, sticky rice rolls, and braised radish.
