Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan expressed hope that the new route will help stimulate Hong Kong’s night economy, while encouraging KMB to collaborate with the government to enhance the "Heartbeat of the City" brand.
The open-top bus will take passengers through Kowloon’s core districts, including the West Kowloon Cultural District, Yau Ma Tei, and Mong Kok, before returning along Nathan Road to Tsim Sha Tsui Pier.
The fleet will showcase iconic color schemes from different eras of the company’s history, offering residents and visitors a nostalgic glimpse into KMB’s 90 years of service to the city.
The upper deck’s covered area features skylights, allowing passengers to admire Kowloon’s urban skyline from a unique vantage point.
Additionally, KMB has launched a premium "Tourist Day Pass" priced at HK$98, granting unlimited travel on over 450 KMB and Long Win bus routes, as well as access to all designated stops along the HK1 sightseeing route.
