Severe flooding was reported across multiple districts in Hong Kong, including Shau Kei Wan, Sai Wan Ho, and Stanley, as the city was hit by heavy rain on Tuesday morning.

The Observatory issued a Red Rainstorm Warning at 8.40 am, which was upgraded to the highest-level Black rainstorm alert at 9.10 am.
Online footage captured torrents of rainwater cascading down a hillside retaining wall on Yiu Hing Road in Shau Kei Wan, with muddy water gushing onto pedestrian walkways and the roadway.
Flooding also struck Sai Wan Ho, where another video showed floodwater surging from sewage onto Shau Kei Wan Road and Tai Foo Street due to blocked drainage channels.
The police received multiple reports of flooding on Stanley Village Road, Stanley Mound Road, and Carmel Road in Stanley, as well as on Aberdeen Praya Road and Police School Road in Wong Chuk Hang.
In Chai Wan, flooding was also reported on Cheung Man Road, Lin Shing Road, and Wah Ha Street.
