Hong Kong's football scene is getting a major boost this summer as The Park Lane Hong Kong partners with the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) for a series of exciting initiatives to celebrate the city's football heritage and rally support for the national team ahead of their July campaign in the EAFF E-1 Football Championship in South Korea.
From now until August 31, The Art Lab at the hotel's lobby will host a special exhibition showcasing iconic moments in Hong Kong football history.
Highlights include team captain Yapp Hung-fai's record-breaking 100th cap celebration, the team's inaugural match at Kai Tak Sports Park, and midfielder Philip Chan Siu-kwan's historic 1000th Asian Cup goal.
Fans can also view Yapp's match-worn goalkeeper gloves and boots, with special photo zones available for memorable snapshots.
The exhibition launched with star power on July 3, as the entire Hong Kong squad, including head coach Ashley Westwood as well as Yapp and Chan, crowned Footballer of the Year in 2016 and 2024 respectively, attended the opening ceremony alongside 120 supporters.
"Having my own section in this exhibition is truly an honor," said Yapp, who hopes the showcase will galvanize fan support.

While acknowledging the team faces tough opponents in the upcoming tournament, he remains optimistic: "We'll give our all to score goals - something we haven't done in this competition since 2003."
That 2003 tournament saw Hong Kong net against both South Korea (1-3) and China (1-3), The team failed to score in the 2022 edition, suffering heavy defeats.
Midfielder Philip Chan, meanwhile, said the team is determined to improve their performance, citing their recent Asian Cup qualifying win against India as inspiration.
