Gold chain snatched in broad daylight on Mong Kok street

A daylight robbery occurred in Mong Kok on Tuesday afternoon when a man had half of his gold necklace ripped off in the busy shopping district.

The victim reported the snatching incident to police at approximately 3pm near 678 Nathan Road. 

According to the man's account, an unidentified assailant grabbed his gold chain from behind. 

During the struggle, the necklace broke, allowing the thief to escape with part of the jewelry while leaving the victim with the remainder.

Officers responded promptly but were unable to locate the suspect following an initial search of the area. The case remains under active investigation.
