Bus and Audi collide in Tsuen Wan, bus drivers injured

A bus driver was hospitalized following a collision between a single-deck bus and a private sedan in Tsuen Wan on Monday evening.

The incident involved a Route 34M KMB bus, which was en route to Tsuen Wan Station, and a white Audi sedan. The collision occurred along Castle Peak Road near Belvedere Garden Phase 2 at approximately 6 p.m.

The impact of the collision forced the Audi onto the roadside curb, trapping its driver inside.

Emergency personnel were promptly at the scene to assist in extricating the motorist, who was later confirmed to have sustained no serious injuries.

The bus driver, however, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
