LWB bus collides with a coach at HZMB port, one injured

A 39-year-old driver was injured after a Long Win Bus (LWB) bus collided with a coach at the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) on Monday morning.

The accident occurred at 8.12 am when the bus operating on route A31 crashed into the coach while turning after dropping off passengers at the Passenger Clearance Building.

The male coach driver, surnamed Lai, was sent to North Lantau Hospital for treatment due to lower back pain. Fortunately, the bus driver did not sustain any injuries. 

Following the collision, the front of the LWB bus was damaged, with its windshield shattered.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
