Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) struck a rare ice cream truck on Tai Po Road on Friday afternoon, with eight people injured.
Today, at approximately 1pm, a Route 72 KMB bus traveling along Tai Po Road towards Kowloon collided with an ice cream truck in front of Kam Shan Country Park.
The rear of the ice cream truck was severely damaged, and the windshield of the bus shattered.
The bus driver and seven passengers were injured and taken to the hospital.

The impacted ice cream truck, known as "Mobile Softee," was established in Hong Kong in 1970 and was renamed in 2001.
Mobile Softee only has 14 such trucks operating in the city, a number limited by the government's decision to cease issuing mobile hawker licenses.
The truck is popular for only offering four products—soft serve ice cream, nutty drumsticks, ice cream cups, and jumbo oranges.
