Kickoff is scheduled for 8pm, with the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) confirming the fixture on its official website. This marks a significant milestone as the representative team debuts at the state-of-the-art venue.
However, the Hong Kong football association changed the venue of the match from Kai Tak Stadium to "t.b.c." on its website Tuesday night.

Unbeaten streak ahead of key clash
The match comes after Hong Kong's goalless draw against Singapore in the opening round of their AFC Asian Cup football qualifying campaign on March 25.
The draw extends the Hong Kong boys’ unbeaten run in grade A international matches to eight games.

Coach Ashley Westwood will look to maintain momentum as his side seeks a strong performance in front of a home crowd at the new 50,000-seat stadium. India, meanwhile, will aim to bounce back after their opening game against Bangladesh also ended up in a goalless draw.
To earn a spot in the 2027 Asian Cup finals in Saudi Arabia, the SAR will need to come out on top of Group C, featuring Singapore, India, and Bangladesh.
