Among the countless part-time job advertisements online, a skeptical job listing stands out to hire a pregnant woman as a "girlfriend" with an “enticing” pay of HK$500 per hour.

A year-long investigation
The duties for the part-time position, as Sing Tao Probe investigated a year ago, included meeting clients and dining together. However, the remuneration had been reduced from HK$500 an hour to HK$1000 for four hours in some of the postings later on.
Undercover girlfriend
Posing as a pregnant woman last year, a Sing Tao reporter met with the “employer” named Ken in his 30s, who, married with children, claimed to work in the IT industry. The dinner meeting ended with a walk in the park, with no financial transactions involved.
After a year of research, the same online advertisement reappeared, featuring content, payment, and phone numbers identical to Ken's previous post.
As a reporter contacted him, Ken stressed he would not misbehave when they meet.
To understand Ken's fascination with pregnant women, another female reporter was sent to pose as a pregnant woman, arranging to meet Ken at the MTR station.
Initially wary and looking around, Ken quickly engaged in the date, even suggesting visiting a hotel behind the Cheung Sha Wan Promenade.
Moral and emotional struggles
In discussing his attraction to pregnant women, Ken explained that his inclination originated in secondary school, but he couldn't explain why, stating that it is similar to having different kinks.
Ken acknowledged that revealing his attractions could lead to being labeled as a pervert and facing moral dilemmas, especially when pregnant women tend to be more protected by their partners.
While Ken didn't overstep serious boundaries throughout the date, he did attempt to get intimate with the reporter.
When the reporter questioned his motives for the date, Ken revealed that he had tried intimate relationships with other pregnant women, with some still in touch, but he seemed hesitant to discuss his marriage.
After the reporter revealed their identity and requested an interview, Ken declined and quickly left, deleting previous messages and the online advertisement.
