Traffic lanes near Hing Wah Street were disrupted after eight cars collided and injured at least three on Thursday.
Around 4pm today, eight vehicles -- including six private cars, one taxi, and one van -- driving along the West Kowloon Corridor towards Mei Foo collided with each other near The Pacifica.
Sources stated that one driver suffered neck injuries and was trapped in the vehicle.
Photos and videos posted online showed that five of the involved vehicles were lumped together, leaving behind a large amount of debris and a tire on the roadside.
A black car had its front heavily damaged, with windows shattered and the airbag deployed.
A silver sedan in the front also suffered damage to its rear.
One of the cars involved is a sky-blue McLaren 720S with a T vehicle tag and valued at over HK$2.5 million. Its left side mirror was damaged by the accident.
The Transport Department stated that there is currently heavy traffic at the site, and the entire West Kowloon Corridor towards Kwai Chung near Hing Wah Street is now closed. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
