Police have arrested two women in an operation targeting traffic offenses in the New Territories, including the illegal use of electric mobility devices.

The suspects, aged 43 and 53, were nabbed on suspicion of various offenses after being caught riding the electric mobility devices, such as driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a licence, and using a vehicle without third-party insurance. They have been released on bail.
Meanwhile, 96 tickets and 21 court summons were handed out throughout the operation to offenders of other traffic offenses, including illegal parking, failure to possess a valid road closure permit, not following road markings, failure to display a valid vehicle license plate, pedestrians crossing the road against traffic lights, and cycling on pedestrian pathways.
